You can spend your days floating and boating on the Sacramento River, fishing, water-skiing, or inner tubing. The river is also a great place to go hiking, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, bird watching, and exploring the 1000 miles of waterways and islands in the California Delta. A little farther away from Ko-Ket Resort, you'll find charming river towns like Rio Vista, Isleton, Ryde, Walnut Grove, Locke, and Courtland.
Make a day trip to San Francisco to visit Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, and to watch the San Francisco Giants or 49ers take to the field. In the capital city of Sacramento, just thirty miles from Ko-Ket Resort, you can tour the California State Capitol, see the amazing works of art at the Crocker Art Museum, or step back into history at the California State Railroad Museum. And don't miss the great sports action with the Sacramento Kings basketball team or Sacramento River Cats baseball.

Our area has plenty of golf courses, fun activities for the kids, and bird sanctuaries for hiking, photography, and birding. You can go on a wine-tasting trip around Lodi or stop at roadside stands for the fresh fruits and vegetables. Near Suisun City, the Grizzly Island Wildlife area is a prime spot for hiking, bicycling and taking photos. Northwest, in Fairfield, you can tour the Herman Goelitz Candy Company, makers of the famous Jelly Belly beans.
